We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of Financial Planning and Analysis located out of our Corporate Office in Laytonsville, MD. Responsibilities:Prepare, analyze and assess financial reports, management presentations and forecasts / projections Promote best practices, knowledge sharing and adherence to internal deadlines, especially in areas of customer billing, invoice (costs) processing and accounts receivablePartner with Division President and Regional VPs to maintain a culture of accountability, execution of SOPs and Branch leadership engagementLead internal audits / job status reviews to ensure accurate representation of job financial performanceSeek opportunities for process improvement and implementation to streamline administrative processesParticipate in Division leadership discussions on priorities, opportunities and strategic planning; Assist with design, deployment and adoption of new initiativesEngage in annual budgeting process, helping to fine-tune cost categories and planned expenditures to align with overall Division objectives and sales backlogSupport operational leaders in developing and evaluating the business case for geographic expansionCollaborate with Corporate Accounting team on external audits, financial close process and reporting deadlinesDevelop initiatives and lead implementation of IT vision in support of existing or future platformsLead strategic operational planning to achieve business goals by promoting innovation while prioritizing initiatives for future operation processes to support the DivisionTranslates strategy into sustainable goals for performance and growth helping to implement division-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual strategic planningInterpersonal skills including ability to and enhance organizational effectiveness through high level of expertise and leadership developmentBasic Qualifications:Minimum 7 years maintaining a senior level role with strong financial experience using cost -to-cost accounting principles (industry experience preferred) Bachelors degree in a related field in Business, Finance or Accounting preferredAbility to identify opportunities or recurring challenges, develop solution plans, build consensus among multiple layers of the organization and execute to successStrong knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel power user) and other business enterprise softwareDemonstrated excellence in organizational, leadership, managerial, written, interpersonal and verbal communication skillsCreativity and flexibility with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and shifting environmentSolid working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.Strong analytical and organizational skillsWhat we provide: Competitive salaryMedical benefits with dental and visionFlexible Spending Account401(k) planFlexible work/life balanceFamily-oriented company culture Ruppert Landscape is an Equal Opportunity and E-verify Employerby Jobble
