NGMS is seeking Principal Digital Engineer with the desire to learn new technologies to join our innovative Digital Technologies Organization to help develop, enhance and maintain software on cutting edge products and systems. As a Senior Principal Digital Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. Through the use of Model-based Engineering, DevSecOps and Agile practices we continue to evolve how we deliver critical national defense products and capabilities for the warfighter. The selected individual will work on FPGA and ASIC Design across the full product life cycle process. In this capacity, you will utilize your working knowledge of digital signal processing and digital interfaces.This position is located in Linthicum, MD.Basic Qualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering or another STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer, Mathematics) discipline9+ years of digital design engineering experience (7 years with a MS; 4 years with PhD)Working knowledge of full product life cycle (requirements, design, implementation and test) of FPGA Design and/or ASIC DesignKnowledge of System Verilog, Verilog and/or VHDLAn ACTIVE DoD Secret DoD Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:MS in Electrical Engineering or comparable engineering disciplineExperience with industry standard FPGA design implementation tools for IP integration, PnR, CDCExperience with industry standard ASIC front-end design tools for synthesis, LEC, CDCExperience with STA constraints generation and timing closureExperience with MATLAB, Mentor Graphics design tools, Synopsys or similar toolFamiliarity with Xilinx and Intel FPGA technologySalary Range: 119784 - 179676Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
