We tailor solutions for a diverse range of government, military, nonprofit, and public-sector clients.Outstanding past performance built IDSs reputation as the leading provider of support for multifaceted operations.IDS International is looking for a Site Manager to oversee a Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) for training, technical support, and advice to the Government of Sweden and the Sweden Air Defense Forces (SAF) for Patriot Missile Air Defense Systems within Sweden. The Team Site Lead shall have at least five (5) years of experience in managing programs, training, and oversight. This individual should have previously completed a successful Patriot battery command, with additional experience as a Battalion (BN) S3 or AS3. The Team Site Lead must be able to direct TAFT personnel and effectively interface with USG Team Chief and USG Deputy Team Chief.Responsibilities:Ensure guidelines and standards are adhered to in accordance with existing government contract Ensure compliance with company and government security regulationsInterface with key, foreign personnel to facilitate training requirements and resource requestsDevelop training schedules and ensure complete compliance and adherenceProvide Patriot Missile Air Defense System subject matter expert advice and training to SAF personnel on techniques and procedures similar to US Army Air Defense Artillery (Patriot).Assist SAF to establish effective their own Patriot related training, standardization, logistics, sustainment, and maintenance programs. Train and mentor SAF personnel on appropriate methods to continue these programs after TAFT mission completion.Train SAF personnel on operational and maintenance procedures. Coordinate with the USG in-country personnel to schedule Table IV and Table VIII written examinations; assess and evaluate Air Battle Management Level (ABML) Table IV and (ABML) Table VIII.Train and develop personnel identified by the SAF to be the Evaluation Missile Maintenance Officer (EMMO) Team.Train and develop personnel identified by the SAF to be the PATRIOT unit master trainers (Master Gunners).Assist in establishing a maintenance program that fully supports the unit training plan; developing a Sweden Patriot training program of instruction for 14-series MOSs (or the Sweden equivalent) and crews; shaping a unit safety program; developing a Tactical Standard Operating Procedures (TSOP); developing a Mission Essential Task List (METL); establishing a Mission Training Plan; and integrating Sweden planning and training methods similar to US methods.Provide effective assistance, advice, and training that facilitate SAF establishing effective Patriot -related programs that can be sustained after completion of TAFT mission. Focus is on building unit collective tactical and maintenance capabilities.Monitor all training to ensure customer satisfaction and adherenceMaintain communication with Program Manager (PM). Keep PM apprised of incidents and/or major events.Develop and monitor leave rotation plan for all TAFT cadre membersCoach, teach, mentor and counsel all TAFT cadreDialogue with high-ranking Swedish military officials.Develop class graduation program and awards criteria.Lead staff meetings; provide guidance and disseminate information.Manage rental vehicles, and other outgoing expenses pertaining to lodging and communications.Produce weekly situational reports to document daily training advisement procedures.Maintain accountability of all company equipment to include; computers, electronics and training equipmentRequired Qualifications:Previous experience in the US Army serving in MOS 14A or 140E Air Defense Officer / Warrant Officer.At Least (5) years of experience as a MOS 14A in a US Army Patriot Battalion and will be subject matter expert in the employment and operation of the Patriot system.Hold an active Secret Security clearance with the Department of Defense.Preferred experience in one or more of the following:Tactical Control Officer (TCO) at a US Patriot BatteryTactical Director (TD) at a US Patriot BattalionEMMO at a US Patriot BattalionAir Defense Artillery Fire Control Officer (ADAFCO) Prefer Patriot Top Gun QualificationMust be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing. Most positions require ability to work on a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time. Computer activities include reading, reviewing and analyzing information, as well as providing recommendations, summaries, and reports in written or verbal format. Additionally, positions require ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; as well as speak and hear.Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds.
