Job Summary:Amentum is seeking a Systems Engineer at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Dahlgren, VA.Do you like learning about new systems and leading edge weapon systems capabilities? Come learn and explore new technologies, software, hardware, and tools with our customer. Using your cybersecurity, systems engineering, and networking experience, you will help design and contribute to the development of some of the Navy's new system.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Participate in cybersecurity working groups to include carrier network and cybersecurity working group, haven and saber and cybersecurity toolkit capabilities integration working groups, disconnect procedures, and PEOIWS 10 CYBERSAFE IPT.Coordinate with other organizations to obtain CYBERSAFE certification on Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) Baseline 10.Review CYBERSAFE controls and provide Cyber SME input on assessment/implementation.Provide Cyber SME for criticality analysis of the integrated combat system.CYBERSAFE requirements evaluation with SSDS element design agent support to implement cyber conditions.Cybersecurity techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP) development for cyber incident response.Develop TTP test plans, test procedures, and test reports for various test events.Coordinate updates to SSAOM will require the document to go through peer-review, navy review team, and local configuration control board (LCCB).Develop and update TTP Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).Provide a Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) systems engineering subject matter expert (SME) to support an analysis of alternatives (AOA) for potential cross domain solutions (CDS) onboard SSDS platforms.Support working groups and meetings in order to provide system hardware design assessments and support the tracking and closure of action and scheduling items.Here at Amentum, we believe in fostering a sense of belonging. We take care of our employees who in turn take care of our customers, driving the success of our business.IND-SIAMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, and at least 6 years of systems engineering experienceOr US Naval operational experience at the E7 level or higher, and at least 6 years of systems engineering experienceOr in lieu of degree or US Naval operational experience at the E7 level or higher, at least 14 years of systems engineering experienceExperience in areas such as requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, producibility studies/analyses, performance analyses, test and evaluation, and/or post-delivery supportDue to the nature of the work, must be a US citizenMust have an active Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) experienceWorking knowledge of CYBERSAFEAnalysis of alternatives (AOA) process
