We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.Job DutySales Merchandising/DistributionEngage, qualify, and close customers on sales of clients productsSeek sales opportunities in departments throughout the store to maximize sales and sales of related attachmentsCommunicate professionally and effectively with the Company management team, retail sales associates, retail management team, client and customersEnsure products are on display, functioning properly, and presentable to customersTake direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing of POS materialsMeet client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKU's.Increase promotional effectiveness by assisting in building displays and placement of appropriate point of sale material.Maintain schematic standards by ensuring all authorized items are in distribution and set to shelf standards.Maintain schematic integrity through consistent communication with District Manager and other retail personnel on current retail/store conditions.Administration/Reporting/TrainingComplete accurate and timely HR paperwork and reports online; call reports, expense reports (if applicable), training certification quizzes, etc.Participate in mandatory conference callsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirect ReportsThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reportsIndirect ReportsThis position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reportsTravel and/or Driving Requirements:Travel and Driving is an essential duty and function of this jobTravel up to 30%Minimum QualificationsThe following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the jobEducation Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience1-3 years of experience in sales experience of a technical product or service in a retail, call center, or indirect environmentPrevious sales or marketing experience preferredSkills, Knowledge and AbilitiesVery strong oral and written communication skillsResults and action oriented - ownership mindedTimely Communications Required. It is mandatory that responses to management phone calls or emails are returned within 24 hoursProfessional demeanor and image compatible with the Client and the CompanySelf -motivated, and organized, while remaining flexible and adaptableMust be Internet savvy with access to a computer - broadband preferredMust have a cell phone; text messaging strongly preferredReliable transportation; ie personal car for transportation to stores/events/meetingsSelf-motivated, ambitious, committed to self and driven to succeedStrong communication skills with the confidence to influence key decision makers at the store levelMust possess excellent organizational skills and have the ability to complete daily procedures and responsibilities without direct supervisionEnvironmental & Physical RequirementsField / Administrative RequirementsIncumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 20 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (ie refrigerated and freezer sections).
