Our expectations include that you have the ability to quickly learn new tasks, think ahead, work independently, be detail and deadline-oriented, and work well with others. $5,000 Signing BonusRequired Skills & Experience:A' . 5-10+ years of business law experience;A' . Substantive experience working with business start-ups;A' . Knowledge and ability to draft business contracts such as client services contracts, employee/independent contractor agreements, buy/sell agreements, etc.;A' . Familiarity with trademarks & IP issues relating to small biz is a plus;A' . Prior experience working at a law firm in a similar position is required. A' . Ability to supervise work performed by junior associates & paralegals;A' . Ideally licensed in at least 1 of the following jurisdictions: Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia. If not licensed in Virginia, then candidate must be eligible to waive into Virginia. Preferred Skills & Experience:A' . General experience in civil litigation is an added plus;A' . Comfortable working remotely and familiar with the technologies involved in a virtual environment;A' . Able to balance multiple client matters and understand the importance of deadlines;A' .
