DescriptionJob Description:The Military Family Life Counseling Program (MFLC) is seeking an experienced Product Release Manager who will act as a common resource for the technical operations and engineering teams associated with the MFLC Program. The Release Manager will perform a full range of duties necessary to support software development, product release, quality assurance, and developing/updating project/process documents and technology in accordance with established guidelines.Primary ResponsibilitiesEstablish Configuration Management, Change Management, and Release Management processes, policies, and proceduresEstablish a process for managing the Change Management Data Base (CMDB)Establish process and procedures for Change Control Board (CCB)Experience with software configuration management processes, procedures, and productsKnowledge with managing and overseeing entire release management cycle to include hotfixes, defect tracking, production operations status reportingExperience in documenting releases, risks and in maintaining the schedule of planned releases and ability to lead software release meetings and oversee release team execution to deliver product on-timeDomain knowledge of recognized Configuration/Change Management standardsPrevious CM experience of process definition and governanceExperience with DevOps product release methodologiesTechnical advocate and self-learner up to date with the latest trends and innovations; encourages and inspires those around them.Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to collaborate with testers, systems engineers, architects, software developers, management as well as ability to work with multiple teams to release softwareDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing requirementsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience supporting complex product release environments.Experience supporting change control systems for systems/software development.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency working with Microsoft Office tools.Ability to manage multiple assignments and adhere to competing deadlines.Familiarity with ITIL best practices.Familiar with Agile methodologies and practicesExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous (CI/CD) Delivery a plus.Experience with Visio a plusOther duties as assignedPay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00#Remote
