Currently, we are all working remotely, yet we plan to resume a hybrid schedule later this year.UE is seeking a System Administrator who's eager to use and grow his or her technological skills. The primary responsibility is to monitor, manage and enhance Office 365, Windows Desktop and Servers, learn and support Azure Cloud administration. In the role, the successful candidate will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, implement new applications and hardware, provide technology tools training to business users. Responsibilities Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, servers, virtual machines, and Office 365 applicationsBuild, configure and troubleshoot cloud and virtual servers and related servicesMonitors Level-II helpdesk tickets and performs day-to-day activities and actions across multiple systems.Provide implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring supportProvide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructurePerform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover proceduresPerform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlesslyMonitor and support AD to O365 sync and hybrid operationsMonitor and support Intune's deployment of policies and patching processesMonitor and support provisioning of devices into O365/IntuneMonitor and Verify Backup jobs for On-Prem, O365, and AzureCreate and deploy policies to protect devices and accountsPerforms advanced troubleshooting and problem resolutionKnowledge and Experience:Hands-on with Microsoft Intune, Desktop Management, Microsoft End-Point Security, Active Directory and Group Policy ManagementDemonstrated experience in day-to-day activities and support of Office 365 implementations, In-depth understanding of the capabilities of Office 365Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD)Experience with OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft TeamsExperience with single sign-on and multi-factor authenticationWorking knowledge of modern communications networks and protocol (MPLS, VPN, SMTP, and Cisco VOIP)Rely on strong problem-solving skills to understand and resolve both simple and complex technical issuesTechnical Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experienceIT certifications in Microsoft Office 365 a big plusStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystems (Teams, Office, Sharepoint)5+ years system administration experience2+ years of experience configuring and managing Microsoft Office 365 applicationsWorking knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, Hypervisor or equivalentExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsSelf-starter, ability to work independently and within a teamPatient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude
