The candidate will support the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Autonomy Capability Team (ACT3) mission of rapid advancement of the science, technology, and research and development (R&D) of Autonomy for varied military platforms. The primary development platform used is the ACT3 developed Air Force Cognitive Engine (ACE). ACE is a one-stop, open-source software application with interconnected tools that enable users to develop complex AI solutions in real-time. The candidate will provide development support (primarily focused on providing UI/UX design and development) for a product called ACE FLOW. ACE FLOW will be a user GUI designed to provide ease of use for novice users to drag and drop AI components and tools to build an AI/ML pipeline. The front-end design will be done primarily through react and possibly GOLANG templates. The backend will be written in GOLANG. The developer may also be asked to participate in the development of other ACE components which are built on a Kubernetes cluster managed by Rancher with deployments handled by HELM charts. Deployments are handled by GIT CI/CD pipelines.Education, Experience, & SkillsRequired Skills: Bachelors in computer science or related discipline. The candidate should have or be able to obtain an active security clearance.Preferred: 5 years of frontend development experience.
