Senior Manager, Product Marketing & Change Management

Capital One's Digital Commercial Banking team is defining the roadmap for the bank's overall digital strategy, designing new, early stage products and services, and accelerating delivery through innovative methods and technologies. We are a high-tech company with an innovation laboratory within the only founder-led top 10 bank in the U.S.

As a Senior Manager, Product Marketing and Change Management for Capital One's Digital Commercial Bank, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for driving the enablement and adoption of our digital products for both internal and external users. The role is a mix of brand strategy, product marketing, communications, user education, and change management. An ideal candidate will have empathy for our users, deep understanding of our products, and be comfortable navigating user-level data to inform and execute go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead development of marketing campaigns and change strategies from concept to launch, collaborating with partners to craft and deliver a compelling customer narrative that drives adoption of our digital products
  • Collaborate with partners (e.g., product managers, designers, project managers, engineers, heads of our business lines) to understand change impacts, identify dependencies and create tailored go-to-market plans for new features and new user groups while communicating and building consensus amongst internal stakeholders
  • Develop and manage product messaging that is easily consumed and understood by our users, to be used in-app and across multiple user engagement channels beyond email to achieve onboarding and adoption goals
  • Oversee the development and execution of user training (to include video tutorials, virtual classrooms, user demos) to drive engagement and adoption for new features and enhancements
  • Work directly with users to build trust and gather insights; aggregate and leverage marketing and user insights to influence and inform product development roadmap
  • Optimize effectiveness of cross-platform communication channels and manage change management routines to ensure optimal engagement of associates and leaders
  • Utilize metrics to monitor adoption and effectiveness, to identify resistance, performance gaps, and to develop action plans
  • Identify and implement process, data, and reporting improvements

  • Ability to balance bold creative and marketing strategy decisions with discipline and analytical rigor
  • Experience with a variety of marketing channels (e.g., in-app, web, video, in-person events)
  • Ability to effectively manage and navigate large scale organizational change efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solution oriented with a proven ability to work independently while prioritizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently
  • Results oriented - no task is too small or too big
  • Excellent executive facing verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, organizational and project management skills with the ability to influence peers, executives and cross-functional partners
  • Experience working directly with consumers to build trust and gather insights that will ultimately drive usage and inform future roadmaps
  • Comfortable thinking on your feet and working through ambiguity in a matrixed, consensus-driven organization
  • Experience with presentation and analytical tools
  • Commitment to a high standard of integrity and work ethic
  • Strong people management skills


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 8 years of brand or product marketing experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in People Management


Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising or other related field
  • Proven track record leading within a cross functional team environment
  • Experience in commercial banking or other financial services
