KCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is a multidisciplinary engineering and surveying firm seeking a survey technician with 5+ years experience.Responsibilities:Prepare construction staking data for field crews using construction plan setsCreate points, centerlines and profiles for construction stakingProcess and interpret survey data collected in the fieldPerform research and gather data for new and ongoing projectsMaintain and organize digital and paper survey recordsCollaborate with planners, project managers and engineers regarding projectsInteract daily will field crews and provide direction and support for ongoing projectsPotential for occasional field work including site inspections, courthouse research and quality assuranceMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of survey related AutoCAD or Civil3D experience preferredCandidates must be proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D is a plus.Knowledge of construction stakeout and cut sheets, boundary, ALTA and topographic surveys and preparation of plats.Associate's Degree in a Survey Related Field and/or formal CAD training preferredKCW Engineering Technologies, Inc.KCW offers full-time positions with flexible schedules, competitive salaries and a generous benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, tuition assistance, vacation, sick and holiday pay.
