Financial Manager (Internal Audit)US Army - Financial Improvement Program (FIP)Summary of Skills and Qualifications: St. Michael's is seeking candidates who possess auditing, audit readiness, IT systems controls, and other relevant financial and accounting experience as a civil servant, service member, or defense contractor. Candidates must have a firm understanding of DoD accounting and audit practices; must be mission-focused and able to multi-task; and must be able to track all project deadlines and follow-up on their timely completion. General personnel qualifications are as follows:Required Skills:Knowledge of GAAP, FASAB, GAGAS, Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures and DoD and Army organizational structures.Experience in performing financial statement audits and audit readiness services within the Department, the Federal Government, or similar enterprise organizations.Familiar with current trends to enhance ERP systems (GFEBS, GCSS-A, LMP, IPPS-A)Familiar with pertinent Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and Federal financial management system requirements.Familiar with DoD policies, systems and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property and material managementSecurity Clearance: Secret and Candidates must be a US citizenEducation: Master's Degree or certification, such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred"St. Michael's is complying with the Safer Workplace Guidance and is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Vet"A' semVMMxC7S
