The candidate will provide technical support, acquisitions support and program management consultation to the Government.This position requires an understanding of the intelligence community, aerospace industry, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission closure.The Expert Systems Engineer will provide additional technical support including: assessing enterprise, system and function-level requirements, enterprise and system CONOPs, architecture products, system schedules, system and enterprise resiliency, and risks. The selected candidate will ideally have knowledge of the IC mission domain and aerospace system capabilities. The candidate will also support strategic planning for future capability acquisition and insertion into the enterprise baseline.QualificationsRequires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.Possess an active and current TS/SCI /w Poly security clearance.Expert working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments.Understanding of, and ability to apply System Engineering methods and process.Experience in requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, test and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering in support of customer's missions.Experience with Systems Engineering and all related functional disciplines.Knowledge of assessing mission technical capabilities and system performance.Experience identifying user & enterprise needs/requirements and gap identification, analysis and assessment.Experience developing and conducting briefings for senior level customer stakeholders.Experience with complex systems engineering efforts, methods, and processes.Proven adaptability and experience with daily interaction on-site with the government customers.Good oral and written communication skills; MS Office proficient.
