Washington DC trade association has an opening for an individual who ensures that APTA members receive excellent customer service. The person in this role reports to the Director-Membership and offers support as appropriate across the department. Specific duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Timely responsiveness to and resolution of general membership questions; assists members with password issues and how to access member-only resources; acknowledges resignations/suspensions; identifies critical issues and confers with the Director-Membership to devise methods for their resolution; prepares new member information used in Passenger Transport announcements; serves as data provider and liaison to third party vendor managing the online Buyers' Guide; assists the Sr. Program Manager-Membership with staff inquiries on the association management system (AMS) as well as handles updates in the system; assists with prospect inquiries for information on association services and benefits; supports the Director-Membership with the Membership Committee as needed; and assists the meetings team with customer service inquiries related to event registration.
