DescriptionThe Price Audit Analyst will support the development and execution of analytic processes used to ensure that distributors and vendors comply with Avendra procurement contracts, charge accurate prices according to contractual terms, and issue accurate credits for pricing errors. The Analyst plays an integral role in the monthly analysis of Master Food, Regional Food and Non-Food pricing and the delivery, tracking, and processing of audit results as well as supporting special projects and analyses. This position provides an excellent environment to further expand analytical skills while working independently to provide high quality analysis. Price Audit is a high visibility, high impact department working with all aspects of the Avendra supply chain and a key department working to validate Avendra's value proposition.Position Reports to Manager, Price AuditPrimary ResponsibilitiesPerform the Master Food and Non-Food system audit process according to the audit plan, including:Responsibility for maximizing coverage of the auditTesting and validating findings for accuracyTracking distributor responses to audit findings and resolution of any discrepanciesRecommending and supporting enhancements to the system audit processesAssist with developing additional audit and reporting tools for increasing total audit coverage by Price AuditIndependently develop, produce, and deliver routine and ad hoc reports of audit findingsMake contract or process improvement recommendations resulting from audit findingsAs requested by management, perform Regional and Non-Food Full Scope and/or Limited Scope desk auditsConduct post-audit analysis/reporting as neededResolve pricing support incidents for both food and non-food audits as directedSecondary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with key external contacts involved in the audit processInteract with multiple functional departments to communicate, track, and resolve issues with data, items, pricing, contracts, etc.As directed, design and execute ad hoc data analysis projects and compile results for presentation to management or external customersPrimary CompetenciesFunctional/Technical SkillsProblem Solving & Analytical SkillsQuality & Continuous ImprovementEffective Written and Oral CommunicationsTaking InitiativeResults OrientationOther Duties.
