NCG is seeking dynamic, and dedicated individuals who want to grow their behavioral health careers and become part of an amazing team of professionals serving others.National Counseling Group offers its employees:Competitive payQuality BenefitsLicensure Residency Program for Full-Time EmployeesAdvancement & Training OpportunitiesTuition ReimbursementWe are seeking full-time Mobile Crisis Counselors to provide the following services:*Travel Required*Provide community based mobile crisis intervention and case management services to families within the community who are suffering from psychotic crises with the sole purpose of providing stabilization and preventing hospitalization.Provide assessment, treatment planning, direct counseling, case management, discharge planning and follow-up to families experiencing mental health crises.Will have scheduled and flexible availability, as well as weekly on-call rotation to facilitate 24-hour coverage.Provide comprehensive written and verbal documentation as required.Work individually and within a team setting.Travel throughout community and potentially to local sites (Loudoun County, Fairfax, Alexandria, Prince William County & Arlington)Facilitates wraparound team meetings to enlist existing supports in determining and meeting service objectives and to identify additional resources and supports.Prepares written service plan, incorporating input from clients, involved service providers, and wraparound team members, and clearly identifying problem areas and needs, strategies, and service objectives.ExperienceRequired1 year(s): Knowledge of principles and techniques of youth, adult, and family counseling and basic interviewing and assessment skills; working knowledge of the human services system, roles of human services personnel, and relevant community resources.EducationRequiredBachelors or betterPreferredMasters or betterLicenses & CertificationsRequiredQMHPCPreferredLCSWLMFTRes in Counseling (VA)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
