Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Manager of Accounting. Areas of responsibilities may include Revenues (including port fees process), Payroll & Benefits, Fixed Assets and Intercompany.Responsibilities: * The Manager of Accounting manages staff including appropriate career development and timely performance reviews * Manages accounting tasks relating to GL accounts reconciliation, bank reconciliation, cash postings, journal entries, accruals, and prepaid accounting * Performs month-end/year-end close * The Manager of Accounting provides accounting and finance support for North America region including Budget/Forecast preparation * Monitors and audits general ledger postings from field units * Provides financial support to field finance teams and unit staff * Performs financial statement preparation and analysis * Creates and amends the internal controls, policies, and procedures * The Manager of Accounting assists with internal and external audits * Other financial reporting tasks as required * Bachelor's degree in Accounting required * 6 to 8 years of experience in general accounting within an ERP environment * 2 to 4 years SAP and HFM experience is preferred Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
