Now is the time to define your future, and ours too.Position SnapshotPosition SummaryThe Senior Paralegal will be part of the NestlA$ (C) Nutrition legal department and will be an integral member of the NestlA$ (C) Nutrition legal team. The Legal & Compliance Paralegal will support the company's legal and compliance function, specifically including responsibilities such as drafting contracts based on templates, reviewing statements of work and third party contracts, managing contract signing and filing, maintaining corporate compliance policies, monitoring completion of compliance training, reporting on designated compliance requirements, and other legal and compliance priorities as the need arises.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide support across a wide range of legal matters and subjectsUpdate and maintain marketing playbooks and guidelines based on company policy and applicable laws, rules, and regulatory guidanceResearch legal and business issues, and provide timely responses to questions from internal business clients regarding internal processes, form agreements, and policiesDraft and negotiate simple agreements and documents, including confidentiality agreements, amendments, and statements of workDevelop, implement, and execute new internal tools and methods for streamlining existing processes to drive greater internal efficiencies for legal and business teamsCompliance ResponsibilitiesTracking completion of compliance training and sending out reminders until training is completed by 100% of assigned employeesProviding administrative support to the Director of Corporate Compliance in the processing of approvals for promotional sponsorships, grants, charitable contributions, etc., and maintaining documentation of such requests and approvals for audit purposes and tracking of same for aggregate spend reportingLegal Function ResponsibilitiesCreating initial draft contracts based on existing templates, including confidentiality/non-disclosure, master service, healthcare provider, R&D, and limited license agreements.Reviewing statements of work related to a signed Master AgreementReviewing trade show/exhibitor contractsMaintain Legal & Compliance intranet pageMaintain Legal & Compliance policies on IntelexAssist with DocuSign implementationREQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVELBachelor's degree preferredParalegal certificate preferredEXPERIENCEMinimum 3 years relevant experience in a corporate legal department or law firmSKILLSExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsDeveloped organizational skills, including ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and/or competing priorities and tasks and drive them to conclusionStrong project management skillsAble to foster a collaborative environment in support of the achievement of business objectivesComputer literacy required, including experience using Microsoft office programs with knowledge of advanced Excel functionsAdvanced problem-solving skillsSelf-starter, needs minimum oversight to complete tasksA day in the life of What will make you successfulBenefitsIt is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.To our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join NestlA$ (C) .
