**Financial Analyst $60K/year**Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a financial analyst on a government contract with our customer in Silver Spring, MD. This is a contract to hire assignment and is currently 100% remote in nature.*Requires COVID-19 vaccination (or approved accommodation) upon hire.**Key responsibilities: Examining and analyzing documentation received from various sources to ensure resultant accounting transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.* Researching and responding to Customer and Management inquiries related to pending or processed accounting transactions.* Researching and documenting routine payment or collection issues for further discussion with Management.* Processing Commercial payments in accordance with Prompt Pay guidance, or Travel payments in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations, may be requested to assist with some organizations.* Recording Intragovernmental Agreement payments and/or collections originating from the Treasury IPAC system, may also be requested for some positions.* Working with CFO Act audits or auditors, preparing federal financial statements and Government-wide Treasury Account Symbol Adjusted Trial Balance System (GTAS) data, reviewing Standard General Ledger (SGL) trial balances including analysis of tie points, and preparing adjustments to the SGL general ledger for quarterly and year end reporting.**Required Qualifications: US citizenship* Must have previous experience in Accounting, Financial Management, and Budget Analysis* Must have proficiency in Excel pivot tables and (Standard General Ledger) SGL accounts.* Must have previous experience working in Federal Government Finance systems.* Must have direct knowledge of or experience with accounting principles and standards, budgeting concepts, cost accounting, financial reporting requirements and financial internal control processes.* Minimum of four to eight (4-8) years of relevant experience.**You should know:** Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all job opportunities offered through Kelly Government Solutions, in accordance with the Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors.Please email Drew Rogers at wilr037@kellyservices.com if you are interested, and we'll set up a quick phone interview to discuss further.**You should know:** Your safety matters!
