Job Type: Full-Time Responsibilities: General Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivery of Citrix projects, XenApp and Xen Desktop architectureincluding:installation, configuration, performance and stability.Designs, implements, and administers virtual desktop environment and provides design and administration support.Manages, maintains, supports, troubleshoots, and optimizes anyglobalCitrix solution in place while making suggestion and adjustments to needs in the future.Defines product/solution strategy and roadmap.Maintains knowledge base for all implementations on best practice procedures for Citrix and related infrastructures.Develops and maintains high standards in establishing procedures and policies to address routine jobs and certain resolution protocols.Establishes best practices for monitoring and forecasting of system/application capacity.Establishes and defines automated system installation/configuration procedures.Follows standard change management process.Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audience. Qualifications: Skills and Education:Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required certifications is qualifying.Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent workexperience.Experience: 5-8 years of experience designing and maintaining Citrix Solutions.Desirable:Certifications: Industry Citrix Certifications: CCA - Citrix Certified Administrator -OR- CCEA - Citrix Certified Enterprise AdministratorMicrosoft CertificationsNutanix CertificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of networking.Knowledge and understanding of virtualization (EG: vSphere, AHV, Xen etc.).Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Active Directory.Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot.Knowledge and understanding of Citrix patch management,Systems engineering skills with an emphasis on enterprise scale architecture using Citrix virtualization product suite.Knowledge and experience with Citrix server build standards, automation and provisioning.Experience with Microsoft GPOs.Strong team player capable of working with various teams both in IT and outside of IT.Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills and close attention to detail.Good time management skills with the ability to work with minimalsupervision.
