Our Technicians upsell our customers on additional Asurion products to allow our customers tostay connected with our products and services.What You Will DoMasterfully completes all appliance repairs and meet or exceed Asurion quality standardsTrain team of technicians to work efficiently with all customers and parts and ensure effectiveness of all siteoperations according to objectivesUse personal vehicle with travel to and from the Forward Stocking Location (up to 60 miles each way) and usingcompany vehicle to travel to several customers' locations throughout a designated regionDrive company vehicle safely and responsibly to and from customer locations in a variety of situations includingheavy traffic and inclement weatherLearn and apply the details of the Appliance+ and other Connected Home products, how to gain anunderstanding of the customer's technology, and how to offer and sell protection/tech support solutions tocustomers to meet their needsBring sales experience to consistently sell the Appliance+ and other Connected Home products and Serve, Solve,and Sell on every customer interactionPerform in your role and achieve your goals by performing in sales, providing excellent service andtechnical/repair support, and creating satisfied customers, in accordance with Asurion core valuesMaintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standardsComplete all required OEM/brand technician training and proactively seek to remain a knowledgeable expert inthe repair industryComplete Training Certification for all applicable lines of business and appliance manufacturersUtilize company provided handheld device to update work order status in a timely manngerAccurately track working hours, including lunch breaksDuties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticeYou are a Good Fit if You HaveMinimum of 5 years' experience as an appliance repair technician, including sealed system proficiencyEPA (refrigerant handling) certification is requiredCustomer Service experience and ability to interact with customer for extended periodsAbility to use basic hand tools and industry diagnostic and repair equipment (Volt-ohm meter, Amprobe, COdetector, etc.)Experience selling and upselling to customersValid driver's license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experienceStrong problem-solving skills, attention to details, organized, and results orientedStrong interpersonal skills, effective verbal, and written communicationsAbility to establish priorities and proceed with objectives with minimal supervisionPositive attitude and dedication to teamworkA comfort around dogs, cats, and other pets that may be present in the customers' homesAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysHigh school diploma or GEDWe Take Care of YouEarn up to 20-25% on top of hourly rate for sales of Appliance+ and other Connected Home productsCompetitive and incentive-based payBenefits including health, dental, and visionRetirement Savings Plan (401k with employer match)Paid time off and paid holidaysTuition reimbursement programOngoing training to grow your skillsTechline support
