We are excited about you joining our team!DescriptionThe Certified Nursing Assistant assists with resident care throughout nursing areas under the direction of licensed personnel.Essential Functions:Assists patient with activities of daily living (ADLs) and documents accordingly. Assists patient with feeding and/or meals as assigned and documents accordingly. Assists patient with elimination needs as is appropriate and documents accordingly.Answers alarm and responds to residents'/patients' needs appropriately and promptly.Collects and documents patient information as needed (including weights and vital signs). Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Provides restorative care per plan of care. Documents accordingly.Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly. Changes linens of occupied / unoccupied beds.Appropriately obtains, stores, and labels specimens. Effectively and accurately utilizes appropriate transportation system, ensuring safe delivery of specimen(s).Assists in discharge process of patients to include transport, packing of personal belongings, and assistance with hygiene needs as requested.
