This is your opportunity to work independently on the Acosta team!The Retail Merchandiser role provides merchandising coverage to achieve superior in-store results for an assigned retail territory. Point of sale interaction is required and the ability to impact sales positively. Personal vehicle required - Day Shift (8 am to 5 pm) - No WeekendsResponsibilities:Essential Functions:Deliver retail merchandising and sales goals across all channels in assigned territoryMeets client expectations regarding retail sales coverage and productivity in assigned territoryAssists in retail and sales initiatives (new product introductions, contests, 30-day speed-to-shelf, etc.) as assignedEnters and transmits data in a timely mannerExecute retail territory coverage plan to ensure merchandising coverage goals are metWork closely with management to develop professional relationships, ensuring smooth and cooperative involvement in the marketing, promotion, and sale of productExecutes merchandising events in assigned territoryMaintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts per planogramRotate stock, clean and stock display, and price merchandise as appropriatePerform duties such as checking date codes, ensuring adherence to approved planogramReport observations to Manager regarding outdated product, unbalanced stock, out-of-stock situations and point of purchase requirementsQualifications:Education Requirements:High School Diploma/GEDWork Experience Requirements:One-year experience in dealing with the public at the retail sales level preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:Lift up to 30 poundsHave a valid driver's license and be able to drive a car for extended periods of timeOccasional weekend work (demos and food shows), along with holidays and potential nights (Night and holiday work will be pre-defined by position)Willing and able to work in extremely cold conditions (ie refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores)Good vision and be able to operate a calculator, telephone, copier, hand truck, hammer, and screwdriver and case cutterStand and/or walk for long periods of timeComfortably interact with the publicProfessional appearance & demeanorFamiliar with Excel and WordExcellent verbal communication skillsAcosta is an Equal Opportunity EmployerBy submitting your application, you agree with and accept the Acosta Privacy Statement and Terms of Conditions.US:
