Paramount Senior Living at Fredericksburg is currently looking to hire a Director of Nursing (DON)The Director of Nursing (DON) will manage administration and operation of personal care facility. We are seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and dynamic Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN) to uphold the quality of resident care in one of our beautiful Senior Living Facility.RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans, develops, organizes, and coordinates all aspects of the Nursing departmentEnsure compliance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and internal policies and proceduresResponsibility and oversight of the quality of resident careManages and addresses personnel issues promptly and appropriately, working with the Human Resources Department and the Executive DirectorActs as the Executive Director in his/her absenceManage and recruit staffing and ensure staffing needs are metLead and participate in monthly nursing meetingsQUALIFICATIONS:Must have an active Virginia Nursing License; Registered Nurse (RN) preferredMinimum of two (2) years of management experience, workings as a Resident Care Manager, Director of Nursing, or Nurse ManagerMinimum of two (2) years of experience in a Personal Care setting, preferred but not requiredKnowledge of memory care is a plusBENEFITS:Medical/Dental/Vision InsuranceShort/Long Term DisabilityExcellent Paid Time Off PackageTuition Reimbursement401KEqual Opportunity Employer.
