If your referral is hired, you'll receive a payment!code-extreferAnalyzes current LM and end user requirements, concept of operations, and system architecture to develop and lead tasking from the perspective of scope, schedule, and resource allocation. Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Will have responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and results associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Function will report directly to the Hanover Technical Leadership and Program Manager. May require OCONUS travel as a requirement for back-fill support and/or deployments.Basic Qualifications:Experience in:Linux System AdministrationWindows System AdministrationCore services (eg LDAP, NFS, DNS, DHCP, NAS)Hardware/Software installation, configuration, and troubleshootingDesired Skills:Experience in:VMware/ESXi/v-Center software installation/configuration/upgradingNetwork configurations/operationsCreation/management of VMsShell scripting experience (with effective use of SED, AWK, etc.)Certifications (eg RHCSA, RHCE, CCNA, VCP5-DCV, A+, Network+, Security+, etc.)SIGINT experienceCreation/management of distributed SwitchesProven ability to work effectively and collaborate in a team environmentStrong written, communication, and presentation skillsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
