We own, operate, and lose constant sleep over several local restaurant brands, including matchbox, Big Buns Damn Good Burgers and The Rub Chicken + Beer. Actively seeks to build relationships and establish clienteleGreets and takes orders from guestsDelivers drinks and food to guests and maintains tablesFollows opening and closing procedures, checklists and sideworkKnows the food and beverage menu, and is able to speak to the menu from memoryRings in orders into point of sale systemCollects payment for food and drinks served and accurately processes paymentCards all guests that appear to be under the legal drinking age and refuses to serve alcohol to minorsAbout you:A minimum of 6 months experience in high-volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment; previous server experience highly desirableAble to work calmly and effectively under pressureAble to perform basic mathematical calculationsMust be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beveragesAble to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidaysCertified in (or able to be certified in) responsible alcohol service (as required by state or local law)High energy and stamina.
