Responsible for serving as Finance leader for BBN business unit and is an integral part of both the BBN and the ACT Finance leadership team helping to build strategy, grow the business, improve organizational performance, and help identify synergies for BBN into Raytheon technologies and products.This position exists to manage and assume responsibility for all financial aspects of BBN and to manage and develop the finance org within BBN. Responsibilities include all financial reporting and analysis, rate management, Accounting, Treasury, and Government Compliance. This position reports to the CFO of the ACT Product Line in Raytheon Intelligence & Space.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide organizational leadership to varying levels. This includes monitoring of all activities to ensure compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, rules, regulations, etc. This also includes performance management, succession planning, and all other employee development related activities.This position is the lead Finance person for BBN within the ACT business area of RI&S. BBN has its own balance sheet and income statement, rates and provides AOPs, Five Year Strategic Plans, and monthly forecasts to ACT/RI&S. The financial lead for BBN is the business partner to the President of BBN and provides all of the financial information required to report historical information, provide financial projections, and support all business-related decisions.As a key member of the BBN Leadership team the individual shall be engaged in all financial and programmatic decisions involving cost and financial performance of the BBN business. This Position will be integral in helping to build strategy, improve organizational performance and develop organizational capability. Individual shall be engaged in all strategic and programmatic decisions involving cost, schedule, and financial performance.This position will be the integral link between the Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts and Operations to help drive revenue growth, cost reduction, operating profit and performance/process re-engineering to meet short- and long-term business unit objectives; Develops, implements and administers financial programs, procedures and systems in multiple financial/accounting disciplines designed to ensure proactive financial analyses, accurate reporting and internal control.Clearance not required, but an ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance is preferred.Required Skills: Typically 12+ years of Finance experience related in a highly matrixed organization Proven leadership in related positions Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills Ability to flexibly work in a dynamic changing environment and manage multiple priorities Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines Self-guided and self-motivated Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex data to a diverse audience Experience guiding teams across a large organization Desired Skills: Previous DOD / Aerospace ExperienceActive Security Clearance (or equivalent crossover)Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP APEX, RPlan, BW Reporting Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's Degree in Business related field This position requires either a US Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
