Finance ManagerPBG Consulting, LLC (PBG) is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our growing corporate team. Location: McLean, VA | Temporary working remote during COVID-19Key Responsibilities:Manage all accounting operations including billing, AP/AR, cost accounting, payroll, tax compliance, and contract inventory accounting.Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax fillings.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Oversee payments of all accounts; ensuring all accounts are paid on timePrepare quarterly and annually financial reportsAssist management with financial decisionsPrepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of businessMake general ledger entries, receive and post AP/AR entries into accounting software, and create accounting strategy.Required ExperienceBachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or 3+ years of experience in related field. Must have 3 - 5 years of Government Contracting, and Project Cost Accounting experience.Must have experience with FAR regulation, DCAA requirements, and GAAP principlesMust have experience with Deltek Costpoint.Able to work well with senior executives.Ability to maintain strong banking relationshipsExperience in Microsoft Office SuiteAnalytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations.Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team. Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.Preferred Skills:Accounting or finance licenses or certifications preferred, but not required.
