Apartment Leasing ConsultantLocation: Frederick, MDType: Full TimeMinimum Experience: Two years sales and/or customer service experience required, apartment leasing experience is a plus. High School Diploma or GED required.We are hiring for a leasing consultant for Willowdale Crossing Apartments in Frederick, MD.Pay & Benefits$16-18/hour, monthly renewal bonus, occupancy bonus, leasing commissions, benefits, and a $700 sign on bonus! On the 1st of the month, following only 30 days of employment, you will be eligible for:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts for Medical Expenses and Dependent CareShort-Term Disability Income Insurance - at no cost!Long-Term Disability Income Insurance - at no cost!Life Insurance - at no cost!401K plan with 50% matchTuition reimbursement20% rent discount at any Berger community - eligible on 1st day of employment!$1,000 employee referral rewards15 PTO days, per year1 volunteer time off day, per yearPaid holidays2 floating holidaysRole & ResponsibilitiesAs the Leasing Consultant your responsibilities will include:Act as first point of contact to residents and prospective residents calling or visiting the community.Identify needs of prospective residents and assist them in finding their perfect new apartment home.Manage prospective leads and follow up in a timely manner in lead management system.Offer virtual, self-guided, in-person, or video tours of make ready apartment homes.Process applications in accordance with company policy and procedure and Fair Housing guidelines.Prepare lease paperwork and manage the resident move-In process.Prepare community daily for showings and ensuring a clean tour path.Opening, closing and sparkling the model and show units.Assist Community Manager in gathering market survey information.Assist Community Manager with Community Social Media strategy.Build resident relations and assist in planning and executing resident events.Plan and execute marketing and outreach activities.Comply with all state, federal and local laws relating to Fair Housing.About YouYou might be a great fit for this role if you have:Well-developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environmentBe dependable, reliable and follow through on commitments, producing timely work to required or higher standardBe attentive to detail and monitoring adherence to company standards and policiesPositive, "can-do" attitude, professionalism, and a high level of enthusiasmProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skillsExperience with property management softwareKnowledge of Fair Housing lawsPassion for continuous learningWho We AreBerger Rental Communities embraces a strong organizational culture that drives a quality living environment for our residents, and a desirable place of employment for our team members.
