As a Business Development intern, you have the opportunity to learn business development skills, proposal development processes, and grow your analytical and research expertise in a dynamic environment. A successful candidate will provide writing, research, and coordination support to the company's ever-expanding business development initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

Support and integrate into a close knit team of Business Development and Proposal professionals providing research and analysis into customers, partners, companies, opportunities, and markets.

Assist with developing presentations, market/business plans, and marketing materials.

Support coordinating proposal efforts as part of a greater team, including desktop publishing, editing, graphics development, and proofreading.

Assist with parsing, organizing and maintaining proposal library content for research and reuse (e.g., past performance documentation).

Assist in developing and maintaining a graphics library within a SharePoint based repository.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Completed 3-4 years of a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, Writing, Business, Political Science).

Basic curiosity about new things, driven to research and analytics.

Desired Skills:

Graphics and desktop publishing experience a plus.

Ability to use MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint.

Strong skills using online research tools; ability to learn new tools.
