Duties

  • Serves as a program analyst in the G8 Directorate assisting in developing and identifying near and long range plans for the organization's program and budget development.
  • Responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) with the Military's Intelligence Program, which includes planning, analysis, formulation, justification nd presentation of a multi-appropriation program.
  • Uses a wide variety of analytical and administrative methods and techniques to conduct intense reviews of long-range objectives and formulation presentation and justification of the POM.
  • Participates on internal/external boards, committees, and working groups functioning as a subject matter expert in financial management.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
  • Pursuant to EO 14043, all Federal employees, regardless of duty location or work arrangement, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before entrance on duty, subject to exceptions as required by law.

  • Must be able to pass the organization's Personnel Reliability Program which includes credit check, drug screening, polygraph and psychological evaluation
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security clearance with access to sensitive compartmented information and special access programs.
  • Incumbent must be willing to work overtime and irregular hours.

Specialized experience in planning, analyzing, and evaluating the programming and budget development; Experience with the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) analysis processes, procedures or guidance to analyze and evaluate force structure requirements; and prepare documentation for justification to secure personnel, funding, and equipment to support worldwide organizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG-12).You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
