Duties

  • You will install, modify, test, repair, and maintain transformers, converters, regulators and cables.
  • You will install, modify, connect, inspect and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution lines.
  • You will troubleshoot distribution circuits and generating and controlling equipment

  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

This position requires rotating shift work

This position requires that the selectee have visual acuity and accurate color discrimination. Must be able to distinguish between colors and shades of colors.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
