The HR Coordinator will heavily support the following HR functions: recruiting, onboarding, orientation, benefits administration, and maintaining the HR calendar.Duties and Responsibilities: Support human resource functions including file retention, recruitment, orientation, and onboarding. Post jobs using PMMI's applicant tracking system (iSolved), screens online applications for suitability of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.Conduct phone screens, ensuring position alignment, and may be asked to conduct interviews utilizing behavior-based interview questions.Schedule new hire and manager-related interviews, phone screenings, department meetings, and new hire orientation.Input and maintain applicant and employment information in the ATS (applicant tracking system).Responsible for saving new hire paperwork and other employee files to the PMMI records management system (Box), inputting / updating employee records in HRIS and benefit databases. Assist and support the annual performance review and goals process, maintaining employee schedules, and sending reminders.Maintain employee confidence and HR integrity by keeping human resource information confidential.Support and coordinate strategic employee developmental excursions, trainings, and activities.Coordinate the Summer Internship Program. Provide support and input to the monthly employee newsletter, Unwrapped.Other HR projects and support for the Senior HR Director and HR Director as needed.Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a professional office environment; exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills.Familiarity with an HRIS and /or ATS (Application Tracking System) or other resume database software. Attention to detail.Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to work independently and part of a cohesive team.Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including good grammar and proofreading ability. Experience in an association and/or a non-profit is a plus.Limited travel required.
