Contributions: As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating materials to help promote and communicate program objectives, goals, and progress for our federal clients as well as contribute to internal Steampunk marketing and branding initiatives on an as needed basis. Responsibilities:Work with high-level clients to understand their key program objectives and develop creative and compelling ways to communicate those to agency stakeholdersSynthesize complicated information into digestible infographics, data visualizations, operational and workflow diagrams, and roadmapsCreate Power point presentations and templates Create marketing and outreach materials to graphically evangelize the impact of current work being done and present it in a creative wayCreate logos, iconography, and illustrations Qualifications: Current portfolio that demonstrates relevant skills and experienceAbility to obtain a security clearance8+ years of professional design experience in an in-house, government or agency settingA collaborative nature with excellent communication and presentation skillsExperience working in a fast-paced, project-based environment The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and navigate through ambiguity and competing prioritiesExcellent attention to quality and detailKnowledge of and experience with human-centered design and design thinking tools and methodsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and AcrobatProficiency in Microsoft Power pointExperience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams that include service and ux designers, data scientists, engineers, developers, project and program managers, and executive leadersSteampunk is a federal contractor subject to Executive Order 14042 and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.223-99 implementing the order. Therefore, this position requires full vaccination for COVID-19, except in jurisdictions where the mandate is barred by a court ordered injunction.
