TechFlow, Inc. is hiring a Boiler Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on one or more boilers to produce high-temperature water for use in an establishment.ResponsibilitiesObserves and interprets readings on gauges, meters, and charts which register various aspects of boiler operation.Adjusts controls to ensure safe and efficient boiler operation and to meet demands for high-temperature water.Maintain a log in which various aspects of boiler operation are recorded;Clean, oil, make minor repairs or assist in repair to boiler equipment.Must be able to calibrate, operate, and interpret readings from a combustion analyzer to ensure efficient operation of boilers.Prepares work orders and cost materials estimates.Keeps tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and in good working condition.May assist in training lower-level workers in mechanical repair techniques.Practice workplace safety.Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work.Operate equipment used in the installation, repair, and maintenance on HVAC equipmentRequirements High School Diploma, GED5+ years of experience in the maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.Experience must include inspection, disassembly, assembly, replacement, and repair of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and/or air conditioning systems to include compressors, motors, burners, pumps, filters, ductwork, pipes, valves, refrigerants, and their recovery systems and pressure vessels.Experience in installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and replacement of control systemsAble to lift and move as much as 50 pounds with assistance as needed.Valid driver's licenseEPA Refrigeration License - must be EPA certified.Lochinvar Boiler Training CertificatePreferred QualificationsKnowledge of indoor air monitoring equipment and interpret resulting data; standards for design and construction; air conditioning and heating codes; hazards and safety precautions; and refrigerant handling and disposal.Knowledge of safety issues in the use of tools, equipment, and supplies used in the repair of HVAC equipment.Experience working with EMI Services #emiservicesBenefitsWhat We DoEMI is an industry-leading provider of DOD base operation support services, facilities maintenance, logistics, and IT support.
