Come join an established company that just celebrated our 50th year anniversary and are still growing at a rapid pace!Position description:Develop policies and strategy, in conjunction with Marketing, Financial and Programs personnel, in the proposal and contract negotiation phase of major systems contracts, and International contractsCoordinate negotiations of highly complex contracts, International contracts as well as less complex contractual arrangements as assignedAnalyze, during the pre-negotiation phase, in conjunction with Program and Financial Management personnel, Contractual terms which could be utilized to fit the customer's requirements, and develop plans to obtain a contract which will meet TCOM business and risk objectivesMaintain expertise in current and proposed Government acquisition regulations and pricing philosophies and International regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms regulations, and the ICC rules. Act as advisor to the Program Manager in interpreting the contractMaintain close contact with responsible contract and procurement customer personnel in government and industryRepresent TCOM to appropriate customer procurement organizations and represent the customer insofar as monitoring TCOM contractual obligations are concernedFunction as lead Contracts Representative on major and minor contracts. Function as team leader in negotiations or in a support role as appropriateAs required, perform Contracts Management staff activities in the areas of procedures, training, policy generation and business systems coordinationDevelop and maintain working knowledge of Letters of Credit and other International bank guarantees, offset requirements and counter tradeKeep abreast of the competitive market, Government budgets, customer planning, and other developments which may influence the current contract, follow-on business, or related emerging business opportunities in conjunction with Marketing and ProgramsRepresent TCOM at Government and Industry meetings and maintain high-level contracts with contracts and procurement personnel in Government and IndustryQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Contracts Management or a related field. A combination of experience and education can be substituted if it provides the necessary skills and knowledge10+ years experience or the equivalent experience in Government Contracts Management covering a variety of different contracts in several product areas with several customers.Experience working with DFAR and government programs/contracts in the defense/aerospace sector is a mustClearance Requirements:U.S. Citizen required. Must be able to receive a favorable eligibility determination for access to Secret information.
