They did not invent the alternative risk management industry, but they have certainly perfected the captive insurance space - providing customized risk management services to more clients than any other company in the enterprise risk industry.RequirementsThe duties of the Claims Specialist include, but are not limited to;Review circumstances surrounding claims along with appropriate coverage and verbally communicate preliminary coverage opinion to the companyWork collaboratively with various third-party administrators in the investigation of claimsKeep claim files properly updated and attach documents in accordance with protocols created and set within the departmentHandle to conclusion insurance claims presented. Duties include advocating for the client, maintaining an active diary, transmittal of documentation and follow-up correspondence to the TPA (as relevant) and companyReview lawsuits submitted by claimantsProvide reserve recommendations and analyses to the Captive ManagerHandle Account Management related inquiries and provide loss information when necessaryStay up-to-date on relevant local, state and federal law changes in the insurance fieldRequirements and Qualifications:5+ yrs. Commercial Lines claims experience; claims processing in the captive space beneficialPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal communication skillsPossess excellent client advocacy and negotiation skillsExperience with Salesforce and Origami Risk software is preferred#MD191713
