Job Type Full-timeDescriptionRIVA Solutions is recruiting for an Accounting Clerk to support a federal contract in Alexandria, VA. Ideal candidate will be customer support focused, with a strong attention to detail and prior call center experience. Applicants MUST be able to pass a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI), and obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) level clearance or higher. Responsibilities:* Answer calls in RAD for Maintenance Fee customers asking about payments, expired patents and other general questions pertaining to maintenance fees. * Scan documents into FPP for daily work for deposit account replenishments, maintenance fees payments, entities, fee address and refunds * Communicate and coordinate with internal departments on calls that need transferred to other Call Centers at PTO. * Calls that come into the Maintenance Fee Call Center - the information is record through UCCMS system with the details of the caller call - about inquiries, comments and complaints and forward to other Call Centers for that agent to see the caller issue* Explain to users how to navigate the Internet site for paying maintenance fee payments by EFT and Deposit Accounts through the FPNG System* Print faxes from Rightfax and scan documents that are for RAD* Utilize a personal computer to enter data with speed and accuracy to support revenue and expense transactions.* Review correspondence, forms or other source documents to extract pertinent data.* Research financial transactions for responding to customer inquiries and/or scan financial transactions.* Prepare, files and maintain supporting documentation as required.* Provide customer service in an efficient, professional and friendly manner.* Provide accurate information to customers.* Must be able to handle a high volume of calls, approximately 150-250 per dayRequirementsBasic Qualifications: Ability to review source documents, extract relevant data and promptly enter data into an automated system, in accordance with specified procedures and standards.Ability to research and resolve processing problems.Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Experience with the use of personal computers and automated systems, electronic spreadsheets such as Excel, and word processing software, such as Microsoft Word.Skill in communicating and dealing with people in a courteous and tactful manner.Works and interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of staff.Ability to meet established deadlines and work as a team player in a professional office.About RIVA:RIVA Solutions, Inc. is a rapidly growing provider of information Technology and Program Support Services to the United States Federal Government.
