Position Summary: The Payroll/Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for all functions related to processing payroll and accounts payable for the organization. Duties & Responsibilities: Payroll Prepare bi-weekly payroll.Assist in setting up payroll information for new hires.Maintain the ADP employee database, address changes, and all other payroll changes.Assist employees with payroll questions.Process quarterly and annual tax filings. Accounts Payable Responsible for reviewing, coding, and routing vendor invoices for required approvals.Set up invoices and manual check requests for payment.Ensure invoices are processed in a timely basis and that all documentation is verified.Reconcile vendor accounts.Review and process employee expense reports.Process annual 1099 forms. Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years payroll/accounting experience, ADP payroll experience preferred. * Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience * Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. * Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. * Demonstrated expertise in computer skills, including knowledge of MS Excel and Word. * Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task. * Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with attention to details, accuracy, and deadlines -Must be able to pass a background check and provide proof of Covid-19 vaccine.
