SALES EXECUTIVE The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the national professional association established in 1917 to represent the interests and concerns of occupational therapy practitioners and students of occupational therapy, is seeking a Sales Executive to add to their team. POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Executive is responsible for driving growth in non-dues revenue by leveraging existing business and effectively managing the sales pipeline. This includes lead generation, relationship-building, qualification and closing sales. This role sells a broad product portfolio, including but not limited to, exhibits, sponsorship and advertising and works across departments to ensure client deliverables are met. POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES Sales of complete AOTA portfolio consisting of exhibits, sponsorship, and various media sales Develop a comprehensive understanding of the association's products offerings Meet annual sales targets Assist with marketing and promotion plans and materials Generate leads, and build and nurture new and existing client relationships Effectively manage the sales pipeline and client data through SalesForce Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest potential revenue streams Coordinate the trafficking of advertising artwork for print and digital media Collaborate with events team on sales deliverables and on-site logistics and planning Represent the association at the annual conference and other national conferences and trade shows as needed Model the AOTA culture values throughout the workplace and employ them in all interactions with peers, managers, volunteers, members, and other stakeholders Engage innovative and creative solutions to problem-solving and design business solutions that advance the goals assigned to your role Exhibit an understanding of the needs and expectations of AOTA members, peers, and managers and strive to cultivate trust and respect with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Demonstrate an evolving knowledge of business foresight along with the ability to integrate diverse perspectives Embrace diversity and work proactively with peers and leadership to foster an equitable and inclusive workplace Other duties as assigned PandoLogic.
