Overview: Groom Law Group is seeking aMarketing Assistant to support the departments administrative needs, coordinating the day-to-day marketing operations andservingas a liaison tothe Firm's internal and external clients. Responsibilities: Assist with the daily operations of marketing, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflowAssist with coordination of awards, legal directories calendar and process managementCollect information and prepare drafts for legal directories and awards submissionsDraft and update attorney biographies, firm news, announcements and external publications on the websiteMonitor and update analytics on website activitiesProvide support in collecting information for, drafting and tracking RFPsProvide data quality, training and general support for CRMAssist with the design, implementation and managing of firm campaignsMaintain practice marketing materials and collateralUpdate and maintain Firms client contact listAssist with reporting of the Firm, marketing and business development activities Participate in regular marketing and business development team discussions to facilitate cross-department knowledge sharing and identification of best practicesResponsible for tracking invoices and expenses against budget related to marketingPerform other assignments as needed to assist the Marketing Department as a team in delivering superior service Qualifications: Education and QualificationsA Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution required; Marketing, Communications or related field preferred1 3 years previous Marketing experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services firmProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAdministrative and clerical skillsExperience with Vuture is a plusCompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong editing and proofreading skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to complete assignments in an accurate and timely mannerAbility to multitask and prioritize multiple assignments; strong organizational skillsCustomer/Client focusedCreative and technology savvyCollaborative and team oriented
