Work availability is required between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. The primary responsibilities of the Branch Manager position are to: Manage all branch personnel and the day-to-day operations of the branch Supervise and develop staff by assigning responsibilities; administering performance appraisals; conducting training, coaching, and counseling employees when necessary; scheduling employees to accommodate workflow Provide account services to members including receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing withdrawals; and completing transfers Ensure proper cash reserves by ordering currency, verifying accuracy of vault deposits, recording vault transactions, balancing vault daily, and adjusting teller cash levels based on member needs Fulfill a variety of account maintenance and servicing requests, such as address changes & check & debit card orders Provide technical assistance for online/mobile banking, Bill Pay, and other e-services Sell products & services based on member needs Provide a variety of consumer and mortgage lending services by educating members about the wise use of credit; answering members questions; providing loan information; stating procedural requirements; and accepting loan applications Resolve member disputes and problems; interpret and enforce Credit Union policies and procedures To qualify for this position, you will need: High School Diploma or GED Three years of experience in financial services, preferably with deposit accounts, cash management, loans, and related services Ability to travel to all of our branches in Towson & Perry Hall as needed A passion for serving others Strong interpersonal skills Ability to perform basic math functions Proficient use of computers & Windows-based software Basic knowledge of electronic banking products Credit check and criminal background check are required Requires Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration and annual renewal of registration Cash handling experience is preferred Supervisory experience is preferred BCEFCU is proud to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
