The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing sound financial review, analysis, and reporting of IS costs and expenses. The Financial Analyst will work with assigned IS delivery teams to establish and maintain budgets and forecasts and will furnish comparisons of actual financial performance to such budgets and forecasts on a regular basis. This position will primarily support daily operations activities and assist with projects, as requested. Responsibilities Work with IS Managers and Delivery Managers to compile budget items for inclusion in the annual plan and update the budget throughout the year Work with IS Managers and Delivery Managers to develop financial forecasts and update such forecasts throughout the year Compile reports and variance analysis for monthly reviews, attend financial review meetings with IS delivery teams and document covered topics, outcomes, next steps, open issues, follow-ups, etc. Assist with monthly close process, including running requested reports, providing accruals and journal entries, and updating financial information Track all approved purchase requisitions and provide analysis and reporting on spend, as requested Compile internal and external labor costs and provide analysis and reporting, as requested Collaborate with IS delivery teams on daily/monthly financial related items Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis on financial components and project support within IS delivery teams Analyze and report on key drivers within IS financial performance Develop understanding of required applications, including Peoplesoft, Fieldglass, Hyperion, Ariba and ESA (ESA is a module within Peoplesoft) Qualifications BS in Accounting, Finance preferred Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills Strong level of attention to detail and accuracy of information Knowledge of accounting principles and finance systems as well as related applications Ability to compile, analyze, interpret and present complex financial analysis and projections Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel Organization and documentation skills Customer Service Building Relationships Business Knowledge / Organizational Acumen Self-Motivation/Self Starter Leading Self and Others
