WANTED: An experienced Explosive Ordnance Technician with proven experience using approved operating procedures to lead teams safely in a variety of processes/methods and operating environments. As our Explosive Ordnance Technician, you will: * Help AMERICAN SYSTEMS continue our support to the energetics/EOD community. * Support the Naval Surface Warfare Center in energetics material operations and maintenance activities. * Support energetic material processing and development. * Receive robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan! A week in the life of a skilled Explosive Ordnance Technician: * You will be leading a team of technicians working to support energetic materials processing and process development. * Possible activities include: * Weighing and transport of energetic materials. * Support of explosives mixing and loading operations. * Assembly, disassembly, demilitarization, inspection, explosive testing, packaging and marking of inert and explosive-loaded ordnance items. * Setup and maintenance of equipment and the control systems required for these operations.
