Investment Liaisons support all stages of the client life cycle by managing investment-related, operational issues. Time-sensitive functions include performing bespoke data analysis and reporting for investments and client-facing associates. The IL is responsible for communicating cash flows, trading discrepancies, corporate actions decisions, GIPS Composite monitoring, processing discretionary trades and other operational processes, including new account setups, impacting Investments. External client functions include interacting directly with High Net Worth clients to respond to trading, tax, and other account-related inquiries. The IL is also responsible for reviewing attribution and risk analysis for client reporting, reviewing meeting materials for accuracy and relevancy, and providing insights and feedback on new or amended investment guidelines.The investment liaison team is comprised of many distinct teams supporting the scope of TRP products and services including:Equity - Supporting our US and Global Equity strategiesFixed Income - Supporting our Municipal, Stable Value, Corporate, Emerging Markets, High Yield and High-Grade investment strategiesResearch Liaison - Responsible for ensuring fixed income issuers and securities are setup correctly and provide support to FI credit analysts including, ratings management, investment meeting notes, and providing quantitative and presentation supportMulti-Asset - Supporting our Target Date and Target Allocation strategies globallyPrivate Asset Management - Supporting our High Net Worth Private clients through all stages of the client lifecycleStrategic Support - Providing business process analysis and automation support to IL/RL Organization as well as performing centralized functions in support of investment staff activities globallyDistribution Management Services - Supporting our private equity receipts/distribution management serviceProxy Operations - Supporting our Global proxy voting process by performing account maintenance, vote execution and client and regulatory reporting. Proxy Operations provides direct support to our Governance teamsRole SummarySupports specific investment teams based on client type or asset class through all stages of the client life cycle by managing investment-related, operational activities.ResponsibilitiesSupports the ongoing operational activities associated with portfolio management of multiple investment strategies. Example activities include: researching and analyzing investment and performance data; generating bespoke investment-, risk-, and performance-related reporting, providing operational support for model portfolios, ensuring coordination of responses on corporate action events; resolving pre-trade compliance issues; maintaining strategy-level data, benchmarks, and performance composites; processing discretionary trade orders; and resolving low to moderately complex investment-related operational issues independentlyUses some autonomy in decision-making to ensure operational readiness to support investment management activities for multiple investment strategies, products, separate accounts, and/or investment types. Example activities include; reviewing prospectus language, proposing investment guidelines, instructing opening of foreign market trading accounts, establishing standing instructions with internal and external parties, etcUses some discretion to coordinate portfolio manager responses to ad hoc and recurring quantitative investment-related data inquiries posed by internal teams, clients, consultants, and prospectsReviews content and sources standard investment data for use in client meetings, marketing materials, client reporting, and internal investment committee meetings. Develops content as directed by investment staff and senior team membersServes as project participant on investments-initiated and investment operations directed projects. Develops use cases and testing plans and participates in userUser acceptance testing as requested to ensure successful outcomesMaintains accurate and complete procedural documentation for assigned strategy(ies), participates in cross-training exercises and provides operational coverage as needed for a defined subset of investment strategiesQualificationsBachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceAssociate Analyst: 0+ years of total relevant work experience; Analyst, 2+ years of total relevant work experience; Senior Analyst 5+ years of total relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications4+ years of investment management or portfolio management support experienceAdvanced skills in Excel, Adobe, Word and PowerPointExceptional analytical and communication skills, attention to detail and diligenceDemonstrated ability to identify and mitigate operational, financial and reputational riskFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Job Family: Services & OperationsT.
