We are committed to developing our associates to achieve their professional potential through a culture of accountability that advocates teamwork, recognizes integrity, and rewards excellence based on the results we get for our clients.The Account Executive is responsible for brokering and managing key clients with a $500,000 revenue target book of business and/or commensurate number of client relationships for commercial lines (ie, property and casualty), and financial lines (ie, D&O/E&O Cyber). The Account Executive will be involved in developing and maintaining the client relationship beyond the annual transactional renewal period. An understanding of the insurance market along with building and maintaining strong relationships with our insurer partners is essential. This position has the flexibility to work remotely.Duties & Responsibilities:Manage an assigned book of business. Build, expand, and solidify relationships with clients and proactively leads marketing and administration needsCoordinates appropriate resources to address the client's risk management needsSecures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and coverage levels with specific goals regarding client retention, growth, achievement of operating margin targets, and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvementCultivates relationships with our clientsSupport a senior Account Executive or a Producer; primary contact when the Account Executive or Producer is not availableAdhere to and follow all service protocols for the department, including use of process form and agency management systemsSupport Producers - prepare or assist in preparation for key prospect/client meetingsCompliance with BFSI policies and procedures manual; support quality assurance process SPECIFIC TASKSUtilize system capability (AMS) and properly to maintain complete and accurate data and documentsCoordinate with team/Producer to complete coverage review for prospectsSupport Producers with research on clients and prospectsDevelop client ready content, speaking engagements, white papers, etc.Facilitate contract reviews for clientsRequest renewal information from the clientDevelop renewal strategy document and coordinate with document design as appropriateDevelop renewal coverage specificationsSelect insurers for submission; negotiate quotes; coverage analysisDevelop and present renewal proposalRequest order to bind and submit binders to clientEnsure policy/endorsement issuance to client within 60 daysMaintain privileged and confidential informationJob Requirements (Skills & Abilities):Work really hard - let's not confuse effort with resultsEmbrace Failure - if you are not failing, you are not pushing your limits, and if you are not pushing your limits, you are not maximizing your potential.Be growth oriented - want to be part of a growing businessImpact the business - deliver unexpected client results; take personal accountabilityIntellectual curiosity - willingness to learnInitiative - find practical solutions for our clientsOpen to feedback - seek constant improvement; understand your strengths and opportunities for improvementOperates with uncertainty - open to new s as a means of self-improvementTeamwork - work well with others, proactively share information with colleaguesProfessional manner - high standard of performance and integrityThink strategically - make thoughtful decisionsCommunication - listens well; concise and articulate in speech and writingAdditional Requirements:2-4 + years of business development experienceRelevant insurance industry experience is preferredBachelor's Degree is requiredAppropriate state licensing required at time of hire or achieved within 90 days of hire dateBFS7501The Company requires that its employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they have an approved medical or religious accommodation.B.
