Duties

  • Coordinating, monitoring, and reporting all aspects of customer engagements involving DCMA senior leadership.
  • Prepares and finalizes all customer engagement briefings, reports, and products used by DCMA leadership during customer outreach opportunities.

  • ...while functioning as the CED staff member responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and reporting all aspects of customer engagements involving DCMA senior leadership.
  • Remains current in methods to ensure optimum workflow processes, and promotes team building and improved business processes.
  • Ensures enterprise-wide strategic-level products and issuances, such as training courses, manuals, presentations and briefing materials, for delivery to OUSD (A and S) or OUSD(R and E), D/SAE, or PEO are complete, accurate and 100% error-free.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Program Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
  • Conducting external outreach at the strategic and operational levels to understand customer requirements, changing priorities, workload and outcomes.
  • Informs and influences decision makers through various data analyses of internal/external customer intelligence.
  • Preparing agency or organization executive leadership for industry engagements.
  • Provide acquisition insight of the industrial base and corporate defense contractors in support of customer's objectives.


Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

  • Acquisition, Technology & Logistics(AT&L) NON-CAP: This position requires an Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Level III certification in the Program Management Career Field within 24 months, unless a Position Requirements Waiver is approved to extend.
