Job Summary/Company: Our client, a national law firm, is looking for a diligent Legal Secretary to provide support within its' Baltimore office. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow with a professional organization, this could be the opportunity for you!

Vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe and proofread legal documents, with an emphasis on commercial real estate transactions
  • Process documents in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word utilizing advanced features such as redlining, table of contents, and automatic paragraph numbering
  • Accurately file documents in adherence to required deadlines
  • Process third party and vendor invoices
  • Coordinate schedule arrangements for attorneys
  • File, organize, scan, copy and fax legal documents in a timely manner
  • Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate
  • Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • At least 5+ years' experience working in a private law firm consisting of at least 50 lawyers or more
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word to include redlining, table of contents, and automatic paragraph numbering
  • Working knowledge of document management systems
  • Professional and personable demeanor; ability to interact with clients on a daily basis
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, organized and demonstrate initiative on a consistent basis
