Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with an award winning grocery retail chain seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity in Arlington, VA. This role is the 2nd level escalation support person for business applications and systems mainly used by store employees. This position will be onsite with the potential for 2 remote days per week.   • Responsible for the full cycle completion of a ticket, ensuring appropriate resolution
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Work with diverse audiences, including highly technical IT professionals, developers, architects, and management

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Associate degree in related field or at least 2 years of technical support experience in an enterprise environment
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server, networking fundamentals, and basic hardware concepts
  • Knowledge of how business applications work
  • Understanding of databases and the general functioning of software
  • Familiarity with an enterprise class ticketing system
  • Strong customer service, time management, and communication skills
