Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Vice President, Support Services who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

The VP, Support Services provides executive leadership to the hospital, responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operations of Shady Grove Medical Center (SGMC) assigned service lines, clinical and ancillary departments; including Environmental Services, Security, Nutrition Services, Volunteer Services and Facilities. This role is responsible for the effective management of departments directors that have direct reporting in a manner consistent with organizational mission and objectives. This role requires someone who collaboratively partners with other SGMC executives who also have oversight to ensure aligned strategic approach to service line or ancillary department's initiatives.

As a Vice President, Support Services you will:
•Ensure excellence in assigned areas of responsibility by providing technical expertise, results-oriented leadership and a working style that promotes a spirit of collaboration to ensure integration of effort and teamwork among support, ancillary, and clinical services areas
•Partner with SGMC executive leadership team to review and facilitate process and operational improvements, including expanding access to care and population-based care
•Ensure high level patient, employee, and physician satisfaction
•Provide executive leadership to promote business development, clinical program growth and new program development.

Qualifications include:
•Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
•10 years of healthcare experience and 7 years of management experience
•7 years management experience
